Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Why Grafton?
I’ve been searching for a new location since September but couldn’t find one in Worcester that met the needs of both myself and my clients. Grafton is closer to my home and opens the door to a new demographic—including clients from Rhode Island, the 146 corridor, and the 495 corridor—many of whom already travel to see me. This move brings the salon closer to them.

When will you be in Grafton?
At this time, we don’t have an exact opening date. Delays in securing permits from the town have set us behind schedule.

What’s the next step while still at Grove Street?
Once the contractors complete the plumbing and electrical inspections, I will submit for the state inspection, which typically takes 4–8 weeks. If you have any helpful connections, we’d appreciate the support at that time!

Why are you relocating?
I’ve been at the current location for 17 years, mostly with just one other stylist. The space and overhead are too large for such a small team. On top of that, managing a standalone building (like shoveling snow before the plow arrives) takes time and energy away from serving clients. The new space will allow me to focus more on the experience and less on property maintenance.

Will the new tenant be another Black-owned salon?
No. The new tenant will be an Asian foot and scalp spa.

What if I can't—or don't want to—travel to Grafton?
We’ll miss you and completely understand. Dina at 372 Chandler Street is aware of my relocation and may see an uptick in clients. I recommend booking early with her, as she stays quite busy.

Will Bianca be at both Grove Street and South Grafton?
Bianca will be relocating to the new Grafton location with the salon.

Embrace the Power of Healthy Hair with Us

Picture
As a functional trichologist (Hair Loss Specialist) our perspective on the interconnection between emotions, health, and hair health is intriguing. There is a concept that emotions can impact physical health, including the development of diseases like cancer.
Hair has been regarded as a barometer of overall health for centuries. Changes in hair texture, thickness, and even loss can often reflect underlying health conditions or imbalances in nutrition, hormones, and emotional well-being. Trichologists play a crucial role in identifying these underlying issues and providing guidance on how to address them to improve hair health.
Trichologists like myself can offer valuable insights into the holistic aspects of hair health, including how nutrition, emotional well-being, and overall health can influence the condition of the hair. By addressing these underlying factors, individuals can improve not only the appearance of their hair but also their overall health and quality of life.

Lets look at the effect of stress on our hair & body.

Stress
Probably the most known cause of hair loss. But do you know how it affects your hair?

High levels of stress can lead to different types of hair loss. It may inhibit hair regrowth, cause the body’s immune system to attack the hair follicles, or cause an irresistible urge to pull one’s hair.
There is a well-established association between stress and hair loss. Hair loss results from multiple factors, including environmental and genetic factors.
While acute stress boosts the immune system, chronic stress suppresses and over-activates the immune system, leading to inflammation.
Sustained and chronic stress can cause inflammation in or around the follicle, which can disrupt its mechanisms through endocrine and neuroimmune mediators like cortisol and corticotropin-releasing hormones.
Hair growth involves three stages:
  • Anagen: the active phase where hair grows from the follicles
  • Catagen: phase involving the death or shrinkage (apoptosis) of the follicle at the base of the hair strand
  • Telogen: resting phase in which the hair follicle is dormant and has no hair shaft growth. In this phase, the stem cells are quiescent, and hairs shed more easily
Stem cells found in hair follicles drive this hair cycle.
The hair follicles were also in an extended resting phase (telogen). To add, corticosterone also prevents the cluster of cells (dermal papilla) beneath the stem cells from secreting a molecule that activates the hair follicle stem cells.

Types of stress-related hair loss
Three types of stress-related hair loss are associated with extreme stress levels.
Telogen effluvium
Telogen effluvium is the excessive hair shedding of resting (telogen) hair. In a typical person’s scalp, 85% of hair is anagen, while 15% is telogen. Some stressors induce 70% of anagen hair into telogen, leading to hair loss.
According to the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), telogen effluvium or excessive hair shedding is common among people who experience extreme stress. Common stressors include:
  • excessive weight loss
  • giving birth
  • major life stressors, such as job loss, divorce, death
  • high fever
  • recovering from an illness
  • stopping taking birth control pills
  • surgery
  • minor illness
  • death of a loved one
Other inducing factors include:
  • systemic diseases
  • major surgeries
  • drugs
  • nutritional deficiencies
This shedding usually occurs 3 - 6 months after the stressor. It is usually self-limiting and lasts for about 6 - 12 months. Chronic telogen effluvium exceeds 6 months.

Alopecia areata
Alopecia areata involves the body’s immune system attacking the hair follicles in the anagen phase, which forces them to the catagen phase. Because the stem cells in the follicles are not destroyed, the hair follicles continue to regenerate and continue cycling.
Clinically, it presents as small bald patches on the scalp or around the body and may lead to total loss of scalp or body hair.
Environmental triggers play a significant role in its development. Some also consider stressful life events as significant factors that trigger the condition. There is evidence to show that genetic factors may also play a role in the development of alopecia areata.

Trichotillomania
Trichotillomania, or hair-pulling disorder, involves repeatedly pulling hair anywhere on the body. It is part of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). A person with trichotillomania uses their hands, tweezers, or other devices to pull their hair.
The exact cause of trichotillomania remains unknown, but many people report the occurrence of a stressful event before the hair-pulling behavior. It may act as a person’s coping mechanism to stress and anxiety.

November was fun but...

Happy New Year

Making the decision to take the time off in November was a difficult one but one I felt was necessary for the growth of my then team of 4 ending with just 2, Josena and myself.
The first 2 weeks of November was full of education from financial literacy Kaz of Kazakiyah’s Studio & Rockland Trust to branding with Nicole Broushet of The Vegan Nest. We had lunch with 2 fabulous women, Kim Salmon & Margo Foreman. We met with 4 women business owners in a great panel, including Worcester’s own Michelle Memnon, Denise Obeng and Nadine James, on how they got to the where they are from start to finish.  They spoke about their ups & downs, what they learned along the way and gave advice to 2 young professionals on how to succeed. Tim Fisk, my coach from Summit Salon Consulting, popped in from Springfield to speak about how to run your salon company to be profitable.  One of my favorites was a friend from ATL,  Mocherie Murray,  an educator with many companies. She spoke about what’s next and how to determine what you need to be successful. If I had to name my favorite, it was McClean Coaching and Consulting. This was the leadership training. It was informative, interactive and really helped us to learn to work together and see where we need to improve as individuals.
I am hoping to have this experience every year. Expanding to other salons and turning it into a retreat away (someday).
Unfortunately, Josena will be leaving to attend Worcester State University full time. Her last day is February 3, 2024.
She has been an important part my team since the reopening in June 2020. We have all watched her grow professionally and personally. I know she will excel and take with her a great deal of information and support from everyone. Several guests have offered to help her in any way they can to ensure she gets through this next journey.
I am saddened to see her leave but so proud of her for making this difficult decision for her future. I will miss her spirit and dancing.
Many have asked if I have someone else lined up. I am interviewing an assistant on Friday. I am always looking for an addition to the team, but it is not an easy position to fill. They must be licensed by the state of MA and if they do not have experience, I must train them. This takes time away from my guests and makes my day longer. Most of all they must fit into the culture we have all created. I am always in contact with the schools and industry leaders in the area.
If you have an appointment that has not be rescheduled. Feel free to call the salon during business hours, rescheduling on our site or your confirmation emails.
During this transition I appreciate your support, patience and prayers.
Thank you,
Ray-Ray

Say No To Envelopes and Yes To Tippy

Picture
Great news!!
For many years we have not allowed tips on credit cards because of the extra fees that we've incurred as a business. As a small business it can really add up. This created another problem, keeping track of tips for the IRS. Both the owner and the service provider are required to keep track. Someone found a solution...Tippy. Tippy it is the tipping solution that’s revolutionizing the salon and spa industry. Tippy helps salon owners reduce processing fees while creating a platform for salon professionals to receive higher tips that are directly deposited into their bank accounts next day.
With Tippy you can now tip on your credit card with 1 swipe. There will be a small convenience fee, which allows your service provider to get the tip immediately. No more envelopes (unless you don't use credit cards), trying to remember how to spell Josena or whoever serviced you, running out or stopping before your appointment for cash.
What does this mean:
Tips will no longer be accepted by CashApp, Venmo, Zelle or another app.  There are 3 ways to tip: In salon at the kiosk during your check out or using the QR Code (if you're on your phone just press the QR code) or the link below, which can be texted or emailed to you at any time.

HAIR TYPES/WHICH IS YOURS?

Hair types | Which is yours?

Clients are always asking about their hair type, texture and porosity. I found this article on idhair.dk/en/blog/hair-types/ and thought this is great. Let me share it. I will also add what I tell my clients about identifying 1A - 4C hair easier. You really only need to know this for product usage. When I was working with Paul Mitchell they taught us that hair is fabric, ok... Years later another stylist described hair as Silk, Cotton & Wool...🤯(mind blown). It immediately brought me back to JPMS. THEN, taking a color class at Coastline Education, they taught me which type needs protein & which needs moisture...it's all coming together for me. Another class with @keyaartistically came in and blessed us with her knowledge from her educational program @racevstexture, she put it all together for me.  So that is how I now describe hair types. Let me explain.
SILK: 1A-2A Needs Protein:  Fine, soft, silky, prone to frizz, tangles very easily. Very fragile. Can't do as much with chemicals are difficult because the hair is fragile and breaks easily. Understand that you can have 4C hair but it is silky. it's rare but possible. (your silk dress, delicate, Wash n Go. Prone to frizz as well.
SILK/COTTON: 2A- 3B, Needs 75% protein/25% moisture: Start to get fullness/body. Mixture silky but has texture, still delicate but more durable, can do chemicals, braids, doesn't break as easily but you still need to be careful. (clothes: maybe you wash it more often, can wear it more, I love sweaters that are cotton & silk). This hair type is beautiful and looks amazing but they need to also be careful. They may be able to color but can not color and relax at the same time. The silk makes it fragile.
COTTON: 3A-3C Needs 50%Protein/moisture: Wash n Go. More durable, can do chemicals, switch up colors, soft & more texture. Body for days. This is the hair we are envy of. It falls & looks beautiful all the time. In it's natural state it is prone to frizz & single strand knots will start to form as we move into 4 coils. twist outs and bantu knots look amazing because usually a healthy person with this hair type has lots of hair. Starts to dry out.
COTTON/WOOL: 3B - 4C 75%moisture/25% protein:  Wash n Go & manipulated into a style.Frizz, tangles easily on the ends, fragile as well. Can't use a lot of heat or chemicals. has to be careful. Starts to dry out because of the wool. Think of a wool sweater. We itch because wool is drying, it is sucking all of the moisture out of your skin.
WOOL: 3C-4C and beyond (100% moisture, moisture, moisture). Think of a wool sweater. We itch because wool is drying, it is sucking all of the moisture out of your skin. So we need to make sure we are using moisture shampoos, conditioners, styling products and maintenance products. this type of hair has to formed and usually doesn't do a Wash n Go, must be manipulated into a style.

I hope this article helps you.

Fine hair, thick hair, oily hair, curly hair, straight hair... There are many hair types, and maybe you’re not entirely sure which one is yours.

Don’t worry, by using these 6 criteria will give you the answer.

#1 Density: How much hair do you have? Start by looking at the density of your hair. Density means how many hair strands you’ve got. Don’t worry, you won’t have to count every single one... It’s actually super easy to determine your hair density.
How to determine your hair density:Take a large section of your hair and pull it to the side – like you would do if you were making a parting. Your hair density depends on how much of your scalp is visible through the hair. Your hair density changes over time. It may be affected by hormonal changes that may lead to hair loss.

#2 Diameter: How thick are your strands? You may have a high hair density and still have thin and fine hair. We use the diameter of each hair strand to determine how thick your hair is.
How to determine the diameter of your strands: Grab one strand of hair between your index finger and your thumb and feel it. If you can hardly feel it, you have thin hair. The more you feel the strand between your fingers, the thicker your hair type.
Your hair type can be thin, medium or coarse. If your hair is thin and you want to add more volume, you may want to read our article on how to add volume to your hair.
#3 Greasy hair: How greasy is your hair? Your scalp produces oil – or sebum. The question is, how much? Once you know if your hair type is greasy, you’ll know how often to wash your hair.
How to determine how greasy your hair isWash your hair before bedtime and let it air dry. This prepares your hair for the ‘grease test’. After a good night’s sleep on your newly washed hair, grab a tissue or another kind of thin paper and press it against your scalp in different places – preferably behind your ears or on the crown of your head (the back part of the top of your head). The more grease that’s left on the tissue, the greasier your hair type is.

Greasy hair If your hair is of the greasy variety, the greasy blot on the tissue is easy to spot. If your hair is greasy, you’re probably itching to wash your hair daily – and we completely understand. Although washing your hair feels great, those frequent hair washes may actually be the cause of your greasy hair! If you have greasy hair, you might fancy our blog post on how to get rid of that greasy hair.
Combination hairThe greasy blot on the tissue is not that visible, but it’s there. It means that you have combination hair, where some sections of your scalp produce more sebum than others.
Dry hair If the tissue shows nothing, your hair is of the dry variety. For a very dry scalp, we recommend using a moisturising shampoo like the IdHAIR Solutions No. 2.

#4 Hair elasticity – how far does your hair stretch? The elasticity of your hair indicates whether your hair type is strong and healthy.

How to determine your hair’s elasticity:Pluck a wet hair strand and stretch it as much as you can. The longer it stretches without breaking, the stronger and healthier it is.
When wet, a healthy and strong hair strand actually stretches up to 50% before it breaks. Impressive, right? On the other hand, if your hair strand virtually breaks before you stretch it, you have a low-elasticity hair type. A low-elasticity hair type benefits from a strengthening hair treatment like the one from IdHAIR Elements Xclusive Repair.
#5 Porosity: Does your hair float? Take a large cup, fill it with lukewarm water and submerge a few of your hair strands in the water. Wait a few minutes and watch how the hair strands position themselves in the water. This will reveal your hair’s porosity, meaning its ability to absorb moisture. Now, on with the test:
Low porosity If your hair strands float to the surface, your hair has few pores, which minimises its capacity to absorb water. Low-porosity hair tends to stay wet for ages after you wash it. For low-porosity hair we recommend the IdHAIR Elements Xclusive Volume shampoo and conditioner.

Medium to normal porosity If your hair strands are still floating in the water after a few minutes, your hair is likely to be of medium to normal porosity. It means that your hair absorbs just the right amount of moisture. IdHAIR Elements Xclusive Moisture shampoo and conditioner is the perfect choice for medium to normal porosity hair.
High porosity Chemically treated hair strands will most likely sink to the bottom of the cup, because they are porous. It means that your hair strands have lots of pores that absorb a lot of water. If your hair type is highly porous, your hair tends to get frizzy and rough easily.

Your hair strand may also be floating vertically in the cup after a few minutes. If you’ve let your highlighted hair grow into an audacious ombre, the porosity of each hair strand may be different at the top and at the bottom: The treated part of the hair strand will sink to the bottom while the root part will reach for the surface.

If you have high-porosity hair, you should look for hair care products with lots of nutrients to rebuild the strength of your hair. For example, the IdHAIR Elements Xclusive Repair series, which is designed for damaged hair.

The slide test Another way of testing if you have a porous hair type is to perform the ‘slide test’.
Grab a hair strand between your index finger and your thumb. Start from the end and slide your fingers up the hair strand. The more ‘bumps’ you feel as you slide along the hair strand, the greater the chance that your hair type is porous.
#6. Hair structure – how curly is your hair?

Your hair type can also be categorised according to the structure of your hair. There are four main categories: straight, wavy, curly or kinky.
These main categories are then further divided into three subcategories. Let’s take a detailed look at each category below. Take a strand of your hair and place it on the table in front of you to determine your hair structure as we move along.

Hair type #1: Straight hair Your hair lies flat and straight on the table. If your hair is straight, it typically lies flat from the roots to the tips, and you’ll more often than not have fine hair.

Hair type #2: Wavy hairYour hair falls in soft S-shaped waves. You may have a few soft waves or several more defined waves. If you have long hair, your waves will typically form from below your ears and down.

Hair type #3: Curly hairCurly hair may be everything from large, soft curls to those spiral-shaped corkscrew curls. Even though you stretch the hair strand flat on the table, it stays curly.

Hair type #4: Kinky curlsIf your hair structure is kinky curls, you’ve probably never wondered about your hair structure. Your hair is tightly coiled.

Sections of your hair may have different curly structures. For example, you may have a tuft of hair at the back that is curlier than your front hair. Your hair strands may also be porous at the ends and greasy at the roots, meaning that your hair strands require several types of hair care products.

Now that you’ve pinpointed your hair type, you’ll find it easier to choose the hair products that will make your hair day.

Have a nice hair day!

13 Ways to detoxify your body

12/22/2021

Hair health begins with scalp health and that begins with a healthy body.
Taking care of your mind, body, spirit and soul will ensure that your hair is healthy. Hair gets nutrients last and will the first to lose them as well.  If you are having any type of digestive issues, your body will fight the inflammation first. Once that is corrected it will then provide nutrients to the rest of your organs including your hair, as an example. You don't need your hair to survey but you do need your liver, heart, lungs and so on.
Detoxifying your body removes unnecessary impurities and "restarts" your organs. Doing this will help with your energy, sleep and mood. Making sure you are being your best self. It is recommended to detox quarterly. Remember after detoxing don't rush to add the processed foods back into your system. You should take your time and add them little by little if at all. Staying away from processed foods is best. Whole foods (food from the earth) are the best foods for your body to process.
Below is an article on how to detoxify your body. Always check with your doctor before starting a regimen to ensure they are not contraindications with your current medications.
All recommended supplements are available under Eurayshia's Favorites: Natures Sunshine

13 Ways to Detoxify your BodyAPR 15, 2019 | HEALTH & WELLNESS
https://www.naturessunshine.com/blog/en/13-ways-to-detoxify-your-body/
We share the world with billions of other people and with a multitude of industrialized nations. When you add up all of the manufacturing plants, exhaust pipes and smaller sources of toxins-like cleaning products, cosmetics, prescription drugs, plastic packaging and more-the concept of detoxifying your body has immense merit.
But where do you start? Are you wondering exactly how to detox? Remember, your goal is to create new, healthier eating habits that lighten your toxic load and strengthen your body for better everyday health. These 13 habits will help you do a full body detox and make way for new energy and vitality.
  1. Avoid Sugar and Artificial Sweeteners. To get the most from your body cleanse, select natural sweeteners like stevia, molasses, maple syrup, honey, etc. Opting for raw honey like Manuka honey could be a better option to replace your sugar content.
  2. Beware the Deadly Whites. White flour (and pasta), rice and bread can interfere with proper digestive flow. Try quinoa, Kamut®, spelt, buckwheat or cornmeal.
  3. Steer Clear of fried foods, red meat and other processed foods.
  4. Try to Avoid Wheat/Gluten, Dairy, Soy and Corn. These common food sensitivities can increase gut permeability and allow toxins into the bloodstream, which stalls weight loss.
  5. Remove Toxic Oils. Stay away from vegetable oil, sunflower oil, canola oil and peanut oil. Avoid trans fats or “partially hydrogenated” foods. Instead choose coconut, flaxseed, extra-virgin olive or hemp oil, which contain more beneficial omega fatty acids.
  6. Pick Quality Protein. Liver detox pathways require protein. Choose grass-fed or wild-caught options where possible.
  7. Fiber it Up! Add some good stuff to your natural detox diet, including:
    1. whole grains
    2. fresh, organic, non-starchy veggies like broccoli, cauliflower and spinach, and spices such as garlic and turmeric
    3. fruit (offers antioxidants, fiber and water)
    4. beans and lentils (provides soluble and insoluble fiber)
    5. seeds and nuts, like almonds, sunflower, flax, chia and walnuts (help with gut health and liver function)
  8. Water. Skip the soda. Scrap the spirits. Drink plenty of water. Alcohol overworks the liver and can damage this critical organ. Water (preferably filtered and room temperature) helps your kidneys function properly and flush toxins from the body. Add lemon to support digestion, or try sipping green tea to help with cardio and immune support.
  9. Drink Fresh Veggie Juice. Juicing is a wonderful way to get powerful nutrients and enzymes into your diet. Add some spinach, kale or other deep greens along with ginger, beets, carrots, turmeric and other colorful veggies and roots.
  10. Probiotics. Friendly bacteria can do wonders for your detox diet plan. Get them naturally in foods like kombucha, kefir, miso, natural yogurt, kimchi and sauerkraut. Or supplement with a product that contains several strains of friendly flora.
  11. Slow Down at the Dining Table. Eating quickly usually leads to eating more, which spells bloating and indigestion. Take your time. Savor each bite. You’ll find that you eat smaller portions and feel better, and you may even lose weight!
  12. Move! Exercise helps you eliminate toxins. Work up a sweat and you’ll improve circulation and burn fat more effectively. Walk, dance, do yoga, just move!
  13. Get Your Zzzzzs. Adequate rest helps the brain detoxify itself. (See the glymphatic system.) Sleep also helps reduce stress and inflammation, which may help you overcome your toxic burden. Get at least 7 hours of sleep each night.
Tips for Detox Success
  • Try phasing out things like caffeine, sugar and artificial sweeteners in the days before you really start your detox diet. This helps minimize potential nausea and headache.
  • Map out your eating plan and you’re more likely to stick with it.
  • Cleanse your kitchen/pantry of any foods or drinks that would sabotage your detox decision.
  • By day 4 or 5 of your new diet, you should start feeling more energetic and see improved digestion.
  • Massage helps release toxins from the muscles and tissues. Follow with plenty of water.
  • Don’t get overwhelmed. If you can only adopt 1 or 2 new, healthier habits, be happy with that. Save some for next time.
  • Don’t be afraid to do some research about how beneficial taking specific supplements, like spirulina, can be to the detoxification process, as it will help to further eliminate any harmful substances from your body.
  • People with chronic health issues like diabetes, liver disease, cancer or eating disorders should consult their doctor before making dietary changes.
The Emotional Detox Component
The best way to detoxify is cleansing emotionally as well as physically. Try these tips for a more complete experience.
  • Practice deep breathing to quell stress and help release CO2from deep within the cells.
  • Listen to uplifting music.
  • Take a slow walk or a hot bath.
  • Sometimes toxic people add to our health burden. You probably know at least one Negative Ned or Nellie who brings you down. To maximize your healthy detox, keep your distance emotionally.
Frequently Asked Questions
What Are the Health Benefits of a Body Detox Program?
Weight Loss. Research shows that environmental toxins are tied to obesity. And detoxification helps remove chemicals stored in the fat cells that can impede weight loss. Eliminating bad food choices that promote weight gain and supporting detox for weight loss just makes sense.
Improved Overall Health. People who detoxify their bodies reduce their toxic load and typically experience greater energy and improved well-being.
Reduced Inflammation. Reducing toxins helps lessen inflammation, which may mean healthier joints, reduced swelling and other benefits.
How Does the Detox Process Work?
Detox begins in the liver. This vital organ converts toxins into unstable metabolites, then it works to excrete these via the kidneys, colon and lungs.
What Is the Best Detox Drink?
A smoothie with chia seeds or pure juices from colorful fruits and vegetables, including beet, ginger, greens, apple and carrot provides energy and cleansing antioxidants.
How Long Should I Detox?
Every natural detox plan is slightly different, but many experts recommend a focused program over 2–3 weeks for best results. Many people detox twice a year, for example in the Spring and Fall. But the focus should be on adopting long-term habits that become part of your daily routine as opposed to a short-term period of deprivation.
Wondering How to Detox Your Liver?
The liver is your body’s main organ for processing and getting rid of detrimental toxins. Take care of it so it can take care of you! Avoid alcohol. Try milk thistle extract with silymarin; it has proven benefits for liver health. N-acetyl-cysteine optimizes glutathione production in the liver (a good thing) and supports liver health.
How Can I Identify Toxins and Reduce My Exposure?
Using natural cleaners and avoiding processed foods and plastics is a good start. The Environmental Working Group offers a great guideline to identifying toxins in your environment.

Well, it is here! We have finally been given a return-to-work date. We are so excited. It seems like it’s been longer than 9 weeks. Unfortunately, your salon experience will be very different due to COVID-19.
As mentioned in our previous emails, there would be some new protocols concerning safety, sanitation and our salon operations. We are now ready to share what will be required to perform our services effective on May 26, 2020.

PRE-SERVICE REQUIREMENTS
  • for the saftey of our clients and our employees; specifically, our clients who are at high risk we require the following:
    • If you have been seeing a stylist who was violating the shutdown order: continue with that stylist moving forward. The safety of all who attend Shi-Shi's Lounge remains our hightest priority.
  • Upon arrival clients will be required to wait in their car. I have asked that you download the Shi-Shi’s Lounge app to utilize the check in function on the top right-hand corner. This will let us know that you arrived. If there are any problems with the app, call the salon to let us know you have arrived. When the stylist is ready for you a text will be sent to you letting you know to come in.
  • Until further notice, we will no longer be allowed to have clients or others waiting in the salon. If someone comes with you, they will have to wait outside of the salon.
  • Upon arrival clients will now be required to have your temperature taken upon entering the building. Temperatures that at or above 99 degrees will not be able to receive a service.
  • Upon arrival and servicing clients will be required to wash their hands.
