PROCELL MICROCHANNELING

What is Microchanneling?

Microchanneling is a skincare treatment that involves creating micro-injuries in the skin using a specialized device. This process stimulates the body’s natural healing response, promoting collagen and elastin production. The procedure is often used to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and scars, and to enhance overall skin texture and tone. On the scalp, the bodies natural healing process will bring nutrients to the follicle and stimulate hair growth.

During a microchanneling session, a device with very fine needles creates tiny channels in the skin’s surface. These micro-injuries trigger the skin’s repair mechanisms, leading to increased cell turnover and regeneration. Often, a serum or growth factor is applied during or after the procedure to further enhance results and aid in the healing process.

It’s a non-invasive treatment with minimal downtime, making it a popular option for those looking to improve skin quality without significant recovery time. The results typically become more noticeable as the skin heals and regenerates over the following weeks.

Is Microchanneling an Effective Treatment for Hair Loss?

Microchanneling can be a promising solution for anyone experiencing hair loss. This treatment leverages advanced microneedling technology combined with potent hair growth serums to reactivate dormant hair follicles. Key factors such as genetics, hormonal changes, and other medical treatments cause hair loss, and Procell Therapy directly addresses these with its innovative approach. Small microchannels created in the scalp increase blood flow and stimulate collagen production, with specially formulated serums promoting follicle reactivation and healthy hair growth.

How often Is Microchanneling Advised?

Procell Microchanneling is typically scheduled every 3-4 weeks. After evaluating your skin objectives, which might include treating fine lines or acne scars, an initial plan of 2-6 sessions, spaced four weeks apart, for hair loss treatments, 5-6+ sessions, spaced 2 weeks apart, will be recommended. Continuous factors like aging may necessitate quarterly maintenance post initial treatment course. Because Procell Microchanneling is minimally invasive, it can be safely repeated without risk across all skin types and tones  .

Who Is Not Suitable For Microchanneling?

While Procell Microchanneling is generally safe for various skin types, there are notable exceptions due to its inflammation-inducing nature. The treatment isn't recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, those with autoimmune diseases like lupus, unstable diabetes, active viral or inflammatory conditions, hemophilia, or a predisposition to keloids. People on medications such as blood thinners and immunosuppressants should also avoid it. Those with specific inflammatory conditions may undergo treatment once the condition is managed and no longer active.

Is Microchanneling Suitable For All Skin Types?

Absolutely, Procell Microchanneling is designed to be effective for all skin types. The process uses a specialized microneedling device to generate microchannels in the skin, activating the immune system and stimulating new collagen and elastin production. By leveraging the body's natural healing, Procell is adaptable to various skin types, making it effective for concerns like acne scars, stretch marks, hyperpigmentation, and rosacea. It's however important to treat any active inflammatory conditions before beginning the treatment   .

Does It Hurt?

With minimal physical discomfort, most clients are able to do the procedure without numbing cream and without any noticeable pain. There is no lingering discomfort, and we have a number of strategies we employ to minimize discomfort during treatment. Post-procedure, most people report a “tight” feeling in their skin.
